Gr8 Science - 01 group: Homework

Students are to answer Workbook questions 4 & 5 on page 32 and questions 1 ,  6  &  7 on pages 39 to 41 for next class:  Tuesday, 1rst Oct. , 3rd period.

Gr7 Science - 03 group: Homework

Students are to answer question 4 a) on page 91( Use the diagram at the bottom of page 90 ).

Students are also to answer question 3 on page 94.

Students FINALLY got their Science workbooks!

In class today, they worked on pages 22 & 23, questions 2 ,  4a) ,  5  &  6.

They then chose an element to make a "tile" for a Periodic Table we will build on the wall of our classroom.

If they did not complete the tile in class, their homework is to transfer answers from previous handouts into their workbooks.

Students will write a quiz on Atoms, Molecules & Elements next class:  Monday, 16th Sept. , 3rd period.

Students will also write a quiz on the topics on the Assignment.

Students may stop by Wed. and Thurs. this week if they have any questions regarding the Assignment or Quiz.

Students will write a QUIZ on Abiotic and Biotic factors next class.  This quiz will also include the Characteristics of Life.

Students are to also read over the next group of vocabulary words in their Binder Glossary( Water Cycle ).

Gr8 Sci - 02 group: Quiz!

Students in this class will miss their next class on Thursday, 12 Sept. due to the Terry Fox Run.

They will write a quiz on Atoms, Molecules and Elements on Tuesday, 17th Sept. ,  2nd period.

Because of the extended break between classes, I will give and Assignment for them to work on first; this will allow them to "warm up" for the quiz.  

This assignment will also be handed in for marks.
