The quiz has been bumped to Friday, 1rst November, last period.

Students will write a TEST on Tuesday, 15th October, 3rd period.

Topics covered are as follows:

-Atoms,

-Molecules,

-Periodic Table,

-Chemical & Physical Changes,

-Conservation of Matter.

Students also have an Assignment on Types of Chemical Reactions in their possession;  they are to do their best to complete the first side. It will be continued with after the test( which is after the long PD-day wknd ).

Students will write a TEST on their Material World topics covered up to this point:

Atoms,

Molecules,

Elements,

Periodic Table,

Chemical and Physical changes

Conservation of Matter,

Types of Chemical changes.

The test is set for Monday, 21rst October, 3rd period.

Students are to answer questions 1  &  2 on Workbook page 107.

This will be checked for completion and corrected next class.  Remember - these homework checks go towards your ATS( Attitude To Study )for term 1.

Gr8 Science - ALL Groups! Homework.

All classes have now completed the Physical & Chemical Changes Lab.

They have completed the "group work" portion.

They will now complete the "individual" portion of the lab when I see them next.

To prepare for this, they are to make sure questions 4 & 5 on page 32 are answered, as well as questions 1,  3,  6  &  7 on pages 39 - 41 are answered.

These will be checked for completion and go toward their "ATS"(Attitude To Study)mark/colour for first term.

They will then be corrected before they do the "Individual" portion of the Physical & Chemical Changes Lab.
