- Students were given their Water Cycle quizzes back. This was corrected and students were advised they will see this topic again.
- Our next topic was introduced by highlighting it in students Binder Glossary and then explored through a matching activity: Students had to match an Adaptation to the organism that displayed the adaptation.
- For example: one Adaptation was: "Fur turns white during winter months". This was matched to an Arctic Fox.
- After successfully matching all the adaptations to the organism, students then had to explain how the Adaptation helped the organism survive.
- Note-taking and seatwork to reinforce the matching activity will continue next class.
