The class moved from one "world" of study into another. We left the "Living World" and started our first topic in "The Material World".
Students first highlighted the appropriate terms in their binder glossary.
Students took notes on States of Matter.
We then made Ooblek to have a little fun. Ooblek is a Non-newtonian fluid. It changes state depending on the amount of force applied to it. It's quite messy, too!
Next class, we will view a video on how Ooblek works, then continue with notes, followed by seatwork.
Students homework over the weekend will be:
1) their Life Cycle Assignment and / or
2) study for their quiz on Animal Reproduction.
