Students checked their Metric System worksheets today; learning the most appropriate unit to measure the Mass(*g) and Volume(*m3 or *L)of different objects.
Students should come away with a familiarity of the most common unit such as Kilograms, grams, milligrams for Mass and Liters, milliliters or cm3 for Volume.
As an aside, we learned how to convert one metric unit into another( 4g = 0.004Kg, for example ). An important skill for
Students will write a quiz on Volume next class and then start a new topic: Temperature.
